#Telltale games the wolf among us season 2 series
Season 2 of the series was originally scheduled to launch for 'all major gaming consoles and mobile gaming devices' in. Now, it's unclear if the game will address its predecessor's ending or leave it open-ended as originally intended. Telltale Games anticipated follow-up to The Wolf Among Us has been delayed.
After Telltale's revival by LCG Entertainment and the subsequent announcement of The Wolf Among Us 2, it was revealed that the new sequel would be made from scratch rather than using the original plans. Interestingly enough, Telltale Games announced a new adventure game based on. However, that version of the sequel was canceled when the studio closed. The first teaser for The Wolf Among Us Season 2 dropped back at the 2019 Game Awards, which you can check out below. While there were plans for a Wolf Among Us sequel prior to Telltale's closure in 2018, there were no plans to resolve the first game's cliffhanger ending, which was inspired by the noir films it took inspiration from. On the plot, Darren Gladstone of Telltale has said: “As Bigby, you take on a case that spans the normal – mundie – world, torn between who you’re going to help.” So far, the trailers have suggested that Bigby will need to delve into his monstrous side - the side of him he has tried to overcome and leave in the past - which points to an even darker story for this game. We see violence break out on that night with what seems to be characters from The Wizard of Oz, which leads to Bigby transforming into his wolf form. The trailer shows Bigby being interviewed about ‘the night of the incident’ by people who are likely from the normal world. It remains a prequel to Fables, this time set in winter 1980 (six months after the events of season one). There are not a lot of details about the plot of The Wolf Among Us 2.
